I was raised and born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I grew up in a big family with a total of 6 siblings who are complete and step-siblings. I am now a seior here at UWStout. I live with one of my sisters in Minneapolis, MN, and I commute two days a week to campus. I work full-time in downtown Minneapolis at a hotel. My job title is residents concierge, and I love my residents and have so much fun working. When I'm not in school/working on school or working, you will find me hanging out with my friends, siblings, and boyfriend doing absolutely anything and everything. I always find myself trying out new things. It's easy to do so living in a big city.
Three Goals
Three goals I have for this upcoming year would be:
Stay working full-time at my job
Finish all of my classes
Become more involved with my community

Personal Passion
I am passionate about my job. I have worked very hard to continue to be full-time at my job while being full-time in school. I love what I do and the company I work for. I plan to work for my company after I graduate this spring.
Personal Narrative
A problem that I have overcome is starting college. I started my first year in the fall of 2020. Meeting people and doing anything on and off campus took a lot of work. Shortly after moving onto campus, my dorm became a COVID dorm. I returned home and commuted to my classes for the rest of the school year. Doing that was the best I could do while keeping myself healthy. Sophomore year came around, and I refused to stay in the dorms for health reasons. I could move into a studio apartment off campus that was basically on campus. It was fun for a while, but I soon realized that living in a small community did not fit me.
Once I finished my sophomore year and June came around, I packed up all my things and moved in with my older sister, who lived in Minneapolis, MN. I quickly got a job there and started my new city life quickly. I have finally felt successful and satisfied in the location that I live in. I was able to meet people, make friends easily, and find a great job that I love. I'm in my senior year and still live with my older sister, which is so much fun. I commute to Capus twice weekly and spend the rest of my time in the city. I am still so happy with myself that I acknowledged I was struggling in my living environment and took the time to do something about it.
